Winner of national composition and performance awards in classical, choral, jazz and rock genres, Michael writes, arranges, records and produces music for New Zealand TV, film, radio, CD, live music performance, theatre and other media through Orange Studio. He writes for orchestras, including the Christchurch Symphony and Vector Wellington Orchestras, writes regularly for What Now, and has scored 18 short films and 3 feature films. He holds a Bachelor of Music with a double major in composition/arrangement and performance. Michael has been accompanying improvised comedy since 2003 and has been a member of the Court Jesters since 2005.
