Joel Chua is a music student (at Jazz School, CPIT) and freelance musician who has enjoyed numerous jazz gigs around Christchurch, including the Outdoor Film Series at The Arts Centre, the Premiere Garden Party for the Ellerslie International Flower Show and the Jazz@6pm series (part of the New Zealand International Jazz & Blues Festival ‘09). Aside from performing, Joel is also a competent teacher, having provided peer support for some first year students in Jazz school.
