Andrew Todd

Andrew is a freelance creative person with a BFA(Hons) in Film. Born in Christchurch, he grew up in the great state of Texas, starting drama at an early age before moving back to New Zealand and competing in The Court’s Theatresports In Schools programme with considerable success. He joined
the Jesters in 2006, and has performed in many shows both at the Court and with other companies around New Zealand. In addition to performing improv, he’s branched out variously into stand-up, design, writing, voice and “real acting”. Andrew’s chief passion, though, is film: he’s been heavily involved with the V48HOURS Furious Filmmaking competition as a competitor and an organiser,
and has written and directed for a range of television and film projects. When not on stage, he can usually be found huddled behind a desk writing scripts or out and about pretending to make movies.
